Can I take retainers or deposits here?
No. Digital products at a fixed price, paid in full at checkout. Retainers and invoicing belong in your payment processor itself or a billing tool.
Do I need a company to sell?
You need a payment account that can accept charges: a Stripe account, which Stripe will let you open as an individual in most of the countries it supports, or a MercadoPago account if your store sells in Argentine pesos. Whether you should invoice as a company is a question for your accountant, not for us.
